Bursting Forth the Power Within: Messages of Hope by Women of Faith is a book by women who explore the deep places of their own ministerial journeys in harnessing the power within. Each writer, in her own way, shares from the depths of her passion, training, and walk of faith to provide words that inspire, encourage, and empower others. 
The breath of reflections includes such topics as spiritual advice for the wife of a Bishop; the contemporary call of Black women as divine mediators and prophets; personal testimonies of hope, self-discovery, and renewal; admonitions for living outside of the world’s stereotypes; reflections on the lives of God-fearing women; models of biblical mentoring; women challenging the status-quo; women appreciating the benefit of spiritual waiting; and the power of women as weeping intercessors.
